About Blog

I hope that Divorced Catholic Moms will be a source of information regarding divorce and annulment as they pertain to the Catholic church. There is so much mis-information out there!
I also hope this will be a place for divorced Catholics (or those who are separated) to come for comfort, support and motivation.
And, of course, I intend to also offer information and support regarding raising our children Catholic. Not an easy thing even under the best of circumstances.
A brief word on what this blog is not….
- a place to debate about, bash or complain about the Catholic church
- a place to get answers to theological questions
- a place to complain about life – it’s all right, of course, to vent a bit but the focus here is on the positive. Yes, we are experiencing, or have experienced in the past, very painful things associated with the destruction of our marriages and the break up of our families. This site is for supporting each other in coming to grips with that and moving on.
Please contact me and let me know what questions/concerns you have. I’m not a theologian or in any way an expert on all things Catholic. I’m simply a Catholic woman and mother who has experienced the hell of divorce, and knows not only that I’m still Catholic but that in the Catholic faith is great strength AND it’s possible to be happy again. I’m living proof.
Subscribe to this blog if you want to know when new posts have been added. Then come and leave your comments. Only in this way can we build a community of support.
Divorce is hard! Let’s help each other through it AND help each other to come out the other end stronger in faith (and in every other way, too!).
May God bless you and bring you peace.
Manya
